Well, the day started out okay. I got up, read my comics (some of the sites are no longer functioning properly, but oh well). Checked blogs. Went down to breakfast in the Wehrenberg cafeteria. Unfortunately, there were no doughnuts. Well, there were, but only one type. So I got a doughnut and a bagel. And there weren't even any jelly doughnuts!
After breakfast I printed out my résumé and my schedule and headed over to the Career Center. Figured they could give me a handle on jobs on campus. My mistake; it's the Career Center, not the Job Center. They handle mostly leaving seniors and such. I put in an application there anyway in case they wanted student help.
After that I walked to Walgreens, which turned out to be on the corner of Glendale and Calumet. Unfortunately, it's a forty-minute walk each way, and I think I was starting to blister when I got back. The worst part was, they couldn't even refill my prescription! Apparently there's some kind of "don't refill before X date" thing. Get this: my "X date" is tomorrow. Luckily the pharmacist said she could leave the info so it'd get filled overnight and I could pick it up tomorrow. Not wanting to walk all that way, I got my ex-roommate (from last year) to agree to drive me there tomorrow.
Definitely going to have to think that through better. I don't mind the long haul, but I can't do it two days in a row (particularly since I have classes tomorrow). Also, when I got back my shirt was soaked with sweat where my backpack was; I can't keep doing that.
Played a bunch of RuneScape today. Talked a bit with Miveen and we decided it would be best if I crafted my own tiaras, then gave her the rest of the silver. (Miveen, you still have to pick up the 91 ingots. I need my bank slot back.) Through various activities I got my strength level up to 49, my cooking up to 55, my fishing up to 49, my crafting up to 29, and my hit points up to 51. I also got rid of some spare bits of food.
Speaking of food, my final count: 1115 fish, from 699 cooked trout and 416 cooked salmon. Also made 43 anchovy pizzas, to get rid of those anchovies in my bank.
Roommate came today, but it turns out he's trying to get a room in Alumni instead, so I had to sign his form saying I need a new roommate. I checked the box saying I'd provide one in seven days, then sent out messages to the Tri-Lambda guys. I'm wondering what'll happen if I can't provide anybody.
He tried to connect to the network, and had to download some software. Unfortunately, it seems to have messed up his computer (corrupted and/or deleted his HAL.DLL file), and I was called on to help. I wasn't able to fix it, though, and advised him to take it down to EIS.
Tried to take a shower this afternoon, but it was more of a dribble. I think the stall on the end doesn't get much water pressure because it's the end of the pipe.
I seem to be getting rather depressed again. I thought my time home during summer break would anchor me, but apparently not. Seems like everyone I talk to recently finds some reason to break off the conversation after a minute or two. Wonder what I'm doing wrong?
Okay, bedtime. I've got classes tomorrow, plus a prescription to pick up. I should probably also work on The Outpost Comic a bit, in preparation for twice-a-week. And I've got to configure Enlightenment (though I've been poking at it a bit already). G'night.

Yeah, I know. And I'm sorry about that. I really meant to get on yesterday afternoon-- after my interview-- but it turned out that I had to run some errands after and that took an incredibly long time. By the time I got back and took care of my pet-sitting job it was after eight at night and I was so tired I crashed out on the couch.
I will be on today. Whenever you are going to be on send me a message via AIM and I will get on at least long enough to free up your bank spots. ^_^

Don't take the backpack! Take a bottle of water and your wallet. That's all you need anyway to pick up a prescription. And go in the afternoon-- they will still be open and it will be a lot cooler.
